Steve Schott
Teacher
Hi! My name is Steve (HeHim) and I’m one of the voice teachers here at Seattle Voice Lab and a licensed speech-language pathologist. My background is in the neurologic foundations and rehabilitation of speech, language, swallowing, and voice disorders. I have degrees in neuroscience and Spanish from the College of Wooster, a masters degree in linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University, and a masters in speech-language pathology from Rush University Medical Center. My passion is working with older adults, but I’m thrilled to be a part of SVL and helping students of all ages and backgrounds find a voice and communication style that is authentically their own. My teaching and therapy style is very collaborative, and I’m happy to create a safe space to help you address your voice, communication, and swallowing concerns.
